Indianapolis—The Junior Fuel Hockey Club and Total Package Hockey (TPH) have come to a multi-year agreement to offer Tier I AAA hockey through the Junior Fuel Hockey Club. This agreement merges the Tri-State Spartans AAA program with the Junior Fuel.

Tier I AAA hockey is the most highly scouted and recruited youth division and produces the most players for non-pay to play junior leagues such as the USHL, NAHL and CHL. 

The Junior Fuel program will continue the regional Tier I AAA model, used by the Tri-State Spartans, that TPH has perfected over many seasons starting in Atlanta and expanding to other areas. The regional model allows for players from non-traditional hockey markets to be able to play AAA without having to travel multiple times a week to practices in another city. This allows some of the best players from these cities to play at their highest level and ability.

The former Tri-State Spartans AAA will now be known as the Junior Fuel AAA.  The Junior Fuel will continue to offer teams at the AA and A levels as well as Select and House. 

With the addition of Junior Fuel AAA, Indianapolis will offer a full program for players from learn to play through Tier I AAA. This will enhance the Junior Fuel’s commitment to growing the great game of hockey.
