Senior becomes first member of Colonels' 100-point club

With two goals and an assist in Saturday's 9-4 win over Augustana College, Corey Jenks became the Colonels first-ever member of the 100-point club.  The 5-9 senior from Nashville, TN, reached the career milestone in just 76 games, racking up an even 50 goals and 50 assists thus far.

Jenks was quick to give credit to those who helped him achieve the feat.  "First off, I would like to thank God for blessing me to even be able to have this opportunity," said Jenks. "Also, my parents for giving me this opportunity to play at EKU.  It's not only a commitment from me but them as well.  I would also like to thank all my previous and current coaches, teammates and everyone else who has helped me along the way."

Jenks and his 6-7-0 Colonels return to the ice on Saturday, Nov. 18 against Middle Tennessee State University.  Puck drop is set for 5 p.m. at Lexington Ice Center.
