INHockey.net and the Indiana Collegiate Hockey Conference (ICHC) are proud to announce their primary media partnership for the 2017-18 hockey season.  This cooperative agreement will offer increased exposure for the ICHC and its member schools, while providing hockey fans with exclusive access to news and information from around the league.

Founded in 2014, the ICHC is based in the North region of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).  The original four member schools:  Indiana University, Purdue University, Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne (IPFW), and Ball State University founded the conference to give hockey players in Indiana and the Midwest a gateway to play competitive hockey at the collegiate level.

The past couple of years have been eventful for the ICHC.  Butler University joined the conference in 2016, providing a foothold within the Indianapolis metropolitan area.  The conference expanded its reach in 2017 when the Eastern Kentucky Colonels were granted membership for the upcoming season.

“We are absolutely thrilled to serve as the ICHC’s media partner,” professes INHockey.net co-founder Paul Evans.  “There are some extremely talented players in these programs.  The games are electric and highly competitive; the rivalries are as fierce as any we’ve seen.”  What the conference lacks, states Evans, is the exposure.  “Too few people are aware of how fun and exciting these games are.  We’re out to change that.”

Starting with the Season Preview due out this fall, INHockey.net will provide scores and highlights each week, along with exclusive insights on the teams, players, and events.  From the Crossroads Cup through the ACHA playoffs, fans will be rewarded with in-depth coverage throughout the season and access not found anywhere else.

ICHC Commissioner and Xavier Head Coach Tim Driscoll said the decision to partner with INHockey.net was an easy one.  “In just their first season, INHockey.net has shown an immense passion and strong commitment to growing the sport of hockey.  The member schools of the ICHC offer high quality academic programs and a highly skilled brand of hockey.  This partnership will allow us to showcase both.”
