Last August, Pro Ambitions participated in the Czech Hockey Challenge Cup (CHCC) for the very first time.  The CHCC is an international tournament taking place at the Czech Republic's Letnany Ice Arena (right).  Teams from Canada, Slovakia, Latvia, Belarus and the Czech Republic make up the outstanding list of international competition.  You can find additional details on the Pro Ambitions CHCC page right here.

Last year's event went so well, Pro Ambitions is returning this year with four, triple A caliber teams, and birth years ranging from 2002 - 2006.   One of those teams, a 2002/2003 birth year team, will draw heavily from talent here in the Midwest.  This crack group of 2002/2003 birth year's will be lead by none other than IU's Men's Division II ACHC Coach, Clint Hagmaier.  Coach Hagmaier is hoping to have a solid representation of Hoosier hockey players on his team.  He also pointed out that he's allowed to roster up to four 2001 birth years on the team.

INHockey.net had a chance to speak with Coach Hagmaier and he had this to say about the opportunity:

" The idea is not just to put together a competitive team for the tournament, but to also give the players of this area a hockey experience they will never forget.  The opportunity to play against teams from other countries will only push our players to become better as they move forward with their playing careers, no matter how far that is. I believe that it will be an invaluable and incredible experience for players and their families, and Indiana hockey in general."
