It Takes A Village...

It is not uncommon when teams hit the road for long journeys to parts far and wide that families and friends pitch in by packing sandwiches and loading up the coolers with snacks and drinks.  An important and meaningful gesture, and one that is often embraced and supported by the local community.  As Team Indiana has representatives from all corners of the state, WE are the community... which makes organizing and executing such a simple endeavour much more challenging.  So on behalf of our good friend and TI Head Coach Jack Manard, we are passing along his request for support:

Team Indiana elite hockey players are headed to the prestigious “Americas Hockey Showcase” in St Louis, on April 10 to compete against some of the top HS players in the nation on 20 very talented teams from coast to coast, with the sole purpose of showcasing their talents to over 120 Junior and College Hockey scouts.

Everyone knows the costs involved to play hockey, and this event is no different.  These kids and their families have already competed (and funded) and full season of hockey, so they're hoping the hockey community will help fuel their dreams by fueling their bodies!

If you would like to contribute to this program and help “feed” our (constantly!) hungry players, please send a check payable to “Team Indiana Hockey”, by April 5, to the address below.  All donations will go directly to offsetting the players' expenses at the Americas Showcase tournament.
